I'm back .. and ....Wow, it feels SO weird to be saying that! Needless to say, I had a good time in San Diego.
Well, to be honest, what matters more to me than the ring itself is the fact that it goes to show they're really serious about the relationship ... that someone would go out of their way for me to do this, despite how much it might have costed, especially considering the fact they don't have a whole lot of extra money to begin with.
Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean I'm getting married in three months. We probably won't for a long time .. it's hella expensive, anyway. But we will someday, and I feel like this ring is more than enough proof to show the world that there's someone out there that I really, truly love.
Although, I've felt this close to them for a long time ... the only thing different now is that there's a fancy word attached to our relationship, so I guess it's not really THAT big of a deal ..
I hope everyone's doing good. Now I gotta pull my head out of the clouds! I feel like a giddy, excited little kid. The only thing bringing me down right now is the thought of what my parents will say once they find out ...
I think they're gonna be mad. >>' Ah well.
